Fall Tournament Summary
The Maryland Lacrosse Tournament Fall Event is designed to provide high-level club programs with an elite environment to compete against some of the top teams in the region. Each team is guaranteed three round-robin games at the outstanding Blandair Park facility, offering top-tier fields and a professional tournament atmosphere. This youth boys event is open to players in the 2031–2037 classes and will follow USA Lacrosse age guidelines. Kick off the club lacrosse year in Maryland with a competitive, well-run fall playday focused on quality matchups and a great overall experience.
Game Rules and Format
All teams will play three pool games
No playoff games will be held for the fall event
Games will consist of two 22-minute halves with a 2-minute halftime
Game time and penalty time will be kept on the scoreboards
No overtime will be played in the fall event
The clock will stop for any injuries
Referees have the discretion to shorten game times if needed to keep the tournament on schedule
Each team is allowed one 30-second timeout per game
The clock will be stop-start in the final minute if the game is within two goals
Appropriate equipment, including mouthguards, must be worn at all times
NCAA rules will be used for all divisions
20-second clearing count will be in effect
No dives will be permitted
Additional rule modifications for younger divisions may be implemented and will be communicated prior to the event
